Settlement and Closing Services

GW Land Title Ltd. offers closing services on transactions for which Old Republic National Title Insurance Company issues title insurance.
Some of our responsibilities as the closing agent include:

• Arrange title protection for the Buyer and Lender. 
• Order payoff information on existing liens. 
• Calculate the pro-ration for taxes, interest, rents and insurance premiums. 
• Payoff liens as agreed upon by parties to the transaction.
• Properly execute documents (i.e., Deed, Note, Mortgage, Affidavits, etc.) 
  needed to complete the transaction.
• Prepare settlement statement for the parties, showing all charges and the disbursement
  of funds.
• Arrange for recording of the conveyance of documents and any other legal instruments
  necessary to transfer ownership.
